Negotiations re Official Agent and Auditor:

The individuals I have spoken to about acting as Official Agent and Auditor for this campaign, as per the Canada Elections Act, have either politely refused or are waffling. My outreach continues. Should anyone be interested in volunteering for these positions, kindly contact me. If I am putting up the $1,000 to sit at the table and scratching for 100 names for the Nomination Paper then, political returns notwithstanding, the positions will be pro bono. If the positions aren't filled well in advance of the writ being dropped, the campaign collapses. Simple.

For anyone who may be interested in volunteering their time and expertise as either Agent or Auditor, I suggest we negotiate interests as opposed to positions. My interests are:

• prevent an unjustified and unmerited GPC showing or the very real possibility of an NDP victory

• highlight the philosophical betrayals of the Federal Greens, grass-roots democracy inclusive

• come out ahead of Ms. May, if only by one or two percentage points

Your call. Ain't transparency fun?

Tentative Meetings:

Preliminary discussions have been held re the availability of meeting space in New Glasgow during the summer months. It is anticipated that several "public meetings" will also be called in the riding's rural communities. Notice of these meetings shall be given via the local media. Please check this page every so often to view dates and times.
